HAT Test Fee
Applications in SAVE or INCOMPLETE mode will not be accepted; only applications that have been SUBMITTED will be taken into account for the test. Each candidate must pay PKR 2000 for the HAT test.
Eligibility Criteria:
In order to be eligible, you must meet the following requirements:
- Pakistani/AJK nationality is required
- Prior to the deadline for PhD scholarships, applicants must have a minimum of an MS/MPhil/ME or equivalent (18 years of age)
- Candidates for MS/M.Phil scholarships in engineering technology must have a minimum of sixteen years of schooling and must be registered with Pakistan’s National Technology Council (NTC), Pakistan, in order to be considered. ( http://www.ntc-hec.org.pk/ )
- During the course of one’s academic career, no more than one-second divisions are allowed.
- Candidate’s cumulative grade point average (CGPA) in their MS/MPhil/ME/Equivalent degree programme must be at least 3.0 out of 4.0.
- The maximum age limit for full-time regular faculty members of public sector universities/colleges and staff of public sector R & D firms registered with Pakistan Council for Science & Technology is 40 years (PCST)
- For everyone else, it’s 35 years
- A HEC Aptitude Test with a minimum score of 70% is required (HAT). Short-listing for HEC will take into account the two highest HAT scores in the last two years.
- There must be no additional financial aid
