Cadet College Hasan Abdal (CCH) came into being in 1952. From October 1953 to February 1958 and from January 1959 to December 1964, the college was headed by British principals: Hugh Catchpole, CBE, OBE (UK), SI (M) and HI M, posthumously (Pakistan), AWE Winlaw (Jan 59–Dec 64), and Lt Col JDH Chapman (Dec 64–May 1971). The goal of the college’s academic curriculum is to prepare students to serve as Pakistani military officers in the future. Students from all around the world are welcome at CCH, which offers a specific Muslim curriculum.
