HEC Portal Login
Candidates who have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Law or an equivalent degree from a HEC/PBC recognised university can register online at http://etc.hec.gov.pk. On the HEC website, applications can be filed online. Before entering the legal profession and practicing law, all LLB graduates must take the HEC LAE-GAT.
HEC Law Gat Registration 2023 Last Date
Before the deadline, all eligible candidates can register for the LAW GAT. The Law Graduate Assessment Test is likely to be held at HEC. Candidates who want to take the Law GAT test must first apply for GAT test registration. Within certain dates, law graduates can apply for the Law GAT. In Pakistan, passing the above-mentioned test is a requirement for obtaining a legal practise licence.

ETC HEC LAW GAT
Foreign degree holders are eligible to apply for the Law Admission Test 2023, which will allow them to enrol in five-year undergraduate LLB programmes. Candidates can apply by selecting Others from the list of universities. HEC Pakistan administers a Law Graduate test to determine whether or not a candidate is eligible to join the Bar Council as an Advocate. HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test Law GAT 2023 Test Date
There will be multiple choice questions on the test (MCOs). Applicants who registered online with the HEC will receive their Roll Number Slip via http://etc.hec.gov.pk one week prior to the test date. The test date, time, and location will be communicated to registered applicants through email/SMS. Candidates must fill out the online application form with a valid email address and phone number. To access the Test Center, you will need a printout of your Roll Number Slip and your original CNIC. The deadline for HEC Law GAT 2023 applications is June 15, 2023.
Law GAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria
- Applicants must have earned a bachelor’s degree in law from a university accredited by HEC and PBC.
- Applicants can choose from a list of exam centres in the application form. Only if a minimum of 100 applicants choose one of the aforementioned Centers will a test be held there. After you’ve chosen a test centre, you won’t be able to change it after you’ve registered.

How to Register for HEC Law Graduate Assessment Test GAT 2023
How do I register for law GAT? Please follow the steps.
- For online registration, please go to http://etc.hec.gov.pk.
- If you have any problems registering online, please write an email to [email protected] or contact the HEC
- Secretariat or HEC Regional Centers for assistance.
- The application process consists of two steps: completing your profile in the “My Profile” section and submitting your application using the “Law GAT Test” link on the menu panel in the left-hand sidebar of the web portal.
- Only applications that are SUBMITTED will be considered for the LAW-GAT Test; applications that are SAVED or INCOMPLETE will not be considered.
- A test cost of Rs. 3000/- must be deposited in Account No. O 1127900567403 via online/ATM.
Requirements/Conditions
- The Law Graduate Assessment Test requires a 50% score to pass (Law-GAT).
- Other criteria, if any, will have to be met by applicants in accordance with the PBC Rules and Regulations.
- The Law-GAT test will be given to applicants a maximum of three times. The test will be conducted three times a year by HEC.
