The candidate’s age should not be more than 40 years by the closing date of receipt of the application. Already employed professional candidates can apply through their department. The upper age limit will not apply to such employees in service.

How to Apply?

  1. Eligible and hopeful candidates are requested to visit the NTS website https://www.nts.org.pk/ to apply online.
  2. Only applications submitted online will be accepted.
  3. Handwritten applications will not be accepted.
  4. A separate application form must be filled out for each post and a separate examination fee must be submitted.
  5. The fee for the written exam is Rs 650 and can only be paid through Link 18 ill / ATM / Internet Banking / Mobile Banking / Easy Paisa Jazz Cash TCS. [Cash deposit is not available at this time]
    There is no need to send application forms and documents by post.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • BS Education (Hons)/ B.Ed(Hons) (2nd Div) or Equivalent Degree in Education (2nd Div.) from any University recognized by HEC. OR
  • BA/B.Sc/BS (2nd Div.) from any university recognized by HEC with B.Ed./ADE/ Equivalent Degree in Education at least (2nd Div.) from any university recognized by HEC.

Important Instructions:

  1. Persons with disabilities can submit their applications under the designated quota. It is mandatory to include a disability certificate issued by the relevant authority with the application, provided that the disability does not hinder the performance of duties.
  2. The distribution of posts will be constituency-based. Candidates from constituencies where the number of posts for a cadre is not mentioned against their names will not be eligible to apply against that cadre’s post.
  3. All educational documents and other documents must be issued before the due date. Documents and certificates issued after the due date will not be considered.
  4. The test, scrutiny, and selection process of candidates will be conducted according to the relevant constituencies existing at the time of issuance of the advertisement. The National Testing Service (NTS) will publish the information entered by the candidate in the online application form on its website for the candidates’ reference.
  5. In case of any incorrect information being entered, the candidate can rectify it online within the stipulated time. No corrections will be allowed after the deadline, and no excuses will be accepted.
  6. The information provided by the candidate in the online application form will be considered final. If any information is found to be incorrect after the closing date, the applicant will be disqualified and excluded from the merit list. No excuses will be accepted in this regard, and no appeals will be entertained.
  7. The numbering of educational documents/degrees will be based on marks obtained, not on division (GPA).
  8. Candidates are required to obtain a conversion of their division (GPA) into marks (percentage) from the relevant education board/university/HEC and mention it in the application form.
  9. Candidates will download their roll number slip themselves from the NTS website and bring a printout to the test center. However, for the convenience of the candidates, roll number slips will also be sent via registered post.
  10. The examination center cannot be changed after selection. Candidates will only be able to take the test at their chosen examination center.
  11. It is mandatory to bring a National Identity Card (NIC) on the day of the test. Otherwise, the candidate will not be allowed to participate in the test.
  12. No TA/DA will be given for appearing in the test/interview.
  13. To pass the NTS screening test, it is necessary to obtain 50% marks.
  14. Shortlisted candidates who are successful in the test must bring their original educational and professional certificates, DMC, domicile, ancestral, concession certificates, and National Identity Card along with a set of attested copies for scrutiny purposes.
