According to the announcement, intermediate or equivalent degrees in physics, mathematics, and computer science are only accepted in computer engineering, software engineering, telecommunications engineering, and in computer science.
How to apply for admission in UET Taxila
Applications and prospectuses are easily available from the UET Admissions Office. It is also available on the official website www.uettaxila.edu.pk. The UET rules and regulations contained in the prospectus are applicable. Completed admission form, including all required attachments and a paid Challenge form, must be submitted to the relevant department prior to the “Last Registration Date for Engineering and Technology University Taxila”. Incomplete applications and applications submitted by courier or mail will not be processed.

Instruction for online filling of Application form for admission
- Visit online admission portal uettaxila.edu.pkand click on MY UET button.
- To register, click the register button and enter the following information
- . CNIC / Form B number without dashes.
- Set a password TCS Ref # (15 digits) [For 14 digits, add 0 to the left end to make it 15]
- Payment date
- Name of TCS Center Upload a photo of your deposit slip
- Sign up now.
- Fill in and submit your personal, educational information, applicable options and settings online.
- Applicants can log in as many times as they like to apply online to view / edit the data.
- When filling out the preferences table, fill in the preferences column carefully.
- Once the priorities are set, they are final and cannot be changed after online application.
- In the Category column, select only A (open revenue), S (partially subsidized), or X (Pakistani children living abroad).
- Other categories are automatically adjusted based on the applicable options.
- Review the merit list according to the schedule listed in Admissions.uettaxila.edu.pk.
- If the applicant’s name appears in the list of services, the applicant will report to the admissions office within the time period specified in the list of services.
- Applicants must submit a hard copy of Application Form F-I along with the documents referenced in Sections 26 and 27 of the 2023 Admission Guidelines / Prospectus.
- His/her eligibility will be determined according to the eligibility criteria for a particular area / category set out in the 2023 Eligibility Guidelines / Prospectus.
- The offer to enter the “unqualified” candidate will be canceled and the “qualified” candidate will receive a phone call and a bank call.
- Candidates will deposit the fees at the HBL, UET and Taxila branches and then submit the following documents to the admissions office within the period of the specific merit list.

Eligibility Criteria UG Programs:
To apply for the above courses, you must have passed the FSC (Pre-Engineering) intermediate exam with at least 60% points. Candidates submitting forms for computer science, software, telecommunications engineering, and electronics should have read the FSC in Mathematics, Physics, and Computer Science. Applicants are required to take the combined entrance exam at a center hosted by UET. The date of the written exam will be announced later by the relevant authorities of this major engineering university in Pakistan.
